Poseidon Swimming Pools provides our customers with the most durable and beautiful swimming pool finishing options available. Our low end swimming pool finishing material is high grade plaster while our high end swimming pool finishing material is a pebble finish. Based on our own personal experience, we exclusively use Pebble Tec finishes.

Plaster swimming pool finishes are installed over the concrete surface. Contractors have been using white plaster to seal concrete swimming pools as long as concrete swimming pools have existed. Plaster is a combination of cement, marble, and water that gives you a very classic look. When white plaster is installed properly, it is extremely reliable and resistant to cracking and discoloration. We can also install additives to the plaster mix to reduce common problems with plaster. Poseidon pools are experts in plaster installation and have been doing it for years.

Pebble surfaces are a relatively new type of swimming pool finishing surface. The name is true to form as these the material is small smooth river pebbles that are embedded throughout the product. Because of the many variety of stone, these finished come in a broad range of styles, shapes, and color combinations. Pebble surfaces are slightly more expensive for square foot than plaster surfaces but they are the most durable types of swimming pool finishes available. Since the pebbles are a natural product, they are virtually impervious to the elements. This is why we prefer to install this swimming pool finish above all other finishes available (plaster, aggregate, ceramic, and quartz).
